Privacy Policy & Terms
Learn how we protect your personal information and maintain complete transparency across our applications.
Your privacy is of paramount importance to us. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect about you as a user of our mobile applications ("Apps") and our services, how this information is processed, and how you can opt out of certain types of processing.
This Privacy Policy applies on the same basis to all websites, mobile applications, or services managed by Exovoid Sàrl.
1. Information About the Responsible Entity
The entity responsible for our sites, mobile applications, and services is:
Exovoid Sàrl, Route de Lentine 14, 1950 Sion, Switzerland.
2. What is Personal Information?
Personal information means any information concerning the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable individual.
3. How We Process Personal Information
Our apps and websites do not share personal information with third parties. When you write to us via support email, we will have your email address, but we will not use it for anything other than responding to your inquiry. We use anonymous traffic analysis. We only log anonymous technical information to adapt to hardware and software configurations.
4. Specific Use of Personal Information Regarding Mobile Applications
4.1 On-Device Location Processing (No Server Transmission)
Unlike typical weather apps on the market, we never transmit your location data to a server. All coordinates are processed locally on your phone.
We have engineered our applications so that precise coordinates are mapped to the nearest weather station ID directly on the client device. Access logs on our servers are disabled, meaning IP addresses are not stored, logged, or shared. End-to-end encryption is used for all weather database requests. This method ensures maximum anonymity and security.
Note: You can completely disable location permissions on your device and set favorites manually via the search bar. The app will load the weather for your favorites list without requesting geolocation.
4.2 Collection of Personal Information
We do not collect any personal information from our users.
4.3 Google Analytics and Firebase
For statistical analysis, we use Google Analytics or Firebase. We rely only on basic features to understand user counts, country demographics, and platform properties. We do not track any Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
4.4 Advertising Identifier (AAID / IDFA)
Advertising identifiers are unique, user-resettable IDs for advertising (AAID on Android, IDFA on iOS). You can opt out of identifier tracking at any time by resetting or disabling the advertising ID in your device's privacy settings.
4.5 Firebase Crashlytics
We use Crashlytics to monitor system crashes and ensure service stability. IPs are fully anonymized. Consult the Crashlytics Terms of Service for further details.
5. Third-Party Advertisements and External Links
Our free products display ads from third-party networks (Google AdMob) and provide links to external services. Exovoid does not control external websites, and their privacy policies may differ from ours.
6. Accessing and Revoking Personal Information
Under applicable law, you have the right to request access, rectification, or removal of the personal information held about you by contacting us at our corporate details.
7. Liability Disclaimer & Warranty Limit
You agree that use of the services is at your sole risk. Exovoid Sàrl, its affiliates, and respective directors do not warrant that services will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor do they guarantee forecast accuracy. To the fullest extent permissible by law, Exovoid Sàrl's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the apps.
